Boys basketball rankings: One Treasure Valley school rated No. 1 in both boys, girls hoops

The undefeated Melba boys basketball team was voted the unanimous No. 1-ranked 2A team in the latest Idaho high school boys basketball state media poll released Thursday.

The ranking comes two days after Melba’s girls basketball team did the same. Its undefeated girls basketball team was also ranked as the unanimous No. 1 team in 2A on Tuesday.

Three of the Top 5 teams in the 5A classification also hailed from the Treasure Valley.
