Mountain View senior point guard Destiny Slocum spent the weekend in Chicago preparing for the McDonald’s All-American Game. She’s the first player from Idaho chosen for the national high school all-star game, which tips off at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on ESPNU.
Over the weekend, Slocum visited the Ronald McDonald House in Chicago, signed basketballs for children at the charity and posed for official team photos.
Representatives for the All-American game sent us the above photos, and we thought we’d share some behind-the-scenes moments of the recently named 5A All-Idaho Player of the Year.
