GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sianna Gable, Payette: Dropped a triple-double of 28 points, 14 rebounds and 14 steals, plus four assists and two blocked shots, in a win over Ontario, Oregon.
Yesenia Montañez, Caldwell: Helped the Cougars to a 2-1 record, recording a double-double of 15 points and 11 steals against Skyview. She added 11 points and four steals against Vallivue and finished the week with 21 points, nine rebounds and eight steals against Ontario, Oregon.
Jaeda Morrison, Kuna: Led the Kavemen to a 51-46 win over Centennial in 6A Southern Idaho Conference play with a team-best 28 points.
Berkley Jones, Eagle: Delivered an all-around performance with 23 points, seven rebounds and six steals in an 84-29 win over Centennial in 6A SIC play.
Elise Barnes, Vallivue: Recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 64-36 win over Caldwell, and then had six points and 10 boards in 29-27 win over Emmett.
Aarey Harris, Parma: Racked up two double-doubles with 27 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block against Nampa Christian and then posted 14 points, 16 rebounds, six steals, two assists and two blocks against Ambrose.
Reagan Williams, Bishop Kelly: Averaged 15 points and 7.5 rebounds in 5A Southern Idaho Conference games against Nampa and Skyview.
McKenna Chavez, Capital: Helped the Eagles to a 3-0 mark last week, including 21 points and 15 rebounds against Rocky Mountain. She averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds and two steals in the three games.
Sophia Deasy, Compass Charter: Led the Aviators to a 48-42 win over Horseshoe Bend with 22 points, 10 rebounds, eight steals, two blocks and one assist.
Nya Pellant-Latham, Boise: Notched a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds along with two steals in a 59-40 win over Mountain View in 6A SIC action.
Adyson Chadez, Marsing: Guided the Huskies to a 35-28 win over Melba with 19 points, 11 rebounds, five steals and one assist.
Zoey Blackwell, Middleton: Helped the Vikings go 3-0 on the week, including 21 points, six rebounds three steals and one assist against Borah, and 21 points, seven rebounds, four assists, four steals and one blocked shot against Boise.
