GIRLS BASKETBALL

Kaity Haan, Boise: Contributed 15 points, eight rebounds and three steals as the Brave won the 5A District Three Tournament with a 50-31 victory over Rocky Mountain.

Jordyn Carnell, Bishop Kelly: Scored 12 points in the Knights’ 4A District Three Tournament semifinal win over Emmett and then had a team-leading 15 points with two steals on the way to a 57-32 victory over Columbia in the championship game.

Trinity Holsinger, Cole Valley Christian: Had a team-leading 19 points to help the Chargers defeat Melba 50-47 for their second straight 2A District Three Tournament championship.

Ashten Moore, Rimrock: Collected 12 points, nine rebounds and three steals as the Raiders defeated Liberty Charter 33-30 in the 1A Division I District Three Tournament championship game.

Rylie Calkins, Parma: Helped the Panthers defeat Fruitland 39-37 with 12 points, eight rebounds, six blocks and four steals in the 3A District Three Tournament championship game.

Rhianna Iveson, Council: Dropped 31 points with four rebounds and two steals in the Lumberjacks’ 61-41 victory over Tri-Valley in the 1A Division II District Three Tournament championship game.

Anna DaBell, Rocky Mountain: Helped the Grizzlies earn a runner-up finish at the 5A District Three Tournament with a team-best 10 points and four rebounds in the championship game.

Ellie Robertson, Columbia: Had 14 points, four rebounds and four assists in the Wildcats’ district semifinal win over Ridgevue, and then added 11 points, four rebounds and one steal in a 57-32 loss to Bishop Kelly in the title game.

Briyer Howell, Fruitland: Notched a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds as the Grizzlies earned a state berth with a runner-up finish in the 3A District Three Tournament.

Brooklyn Dayley, Melba: Racked up 25 points, five assists and three steals as the Mustangs earned a state berth with a runner-up finish at the 2A District Three Tournament.

Kendall Rynearson, Weiser: Averaged 14.5 points, five rebounds and four steals in two 3A District Three Tournament games, including sinking six 3-pointers against McCall-Donnelly.
