Idaho high school girls basketball rankings: Two new teams assume No. 1 spot
Two new teams have moved to No. 1 in their respective classifications in the latest Idaho girls basketball state media poll.
Lake City leapfrogged Boise for the No. 1 spot in 5A by a single point, while Kendrick moved ahead of Dietrich in 1A Division II.
Middleton cracked the top 5 for the first time this season, overtaking Rocky Mountain after a 59-53 victory over the Grizzlies on Jan. 16.
In all, six teams from Southwest Idaho were ranked in their classification’s top 5.
