Eagle pitcher/shortstop Bradie Fillmore was selected for the Premier Girls Fastpitch High School All-American Game on July 28 in Irvine, Calif.

The game, in its first year, selects the top 36 high school graduates in the country and will air live on ESPNU at 8:30 p.m. MT.

Fillmore, a Cal signee and the two-time Gatorade Idaho Softball Player of the Year, will play on the West team as a third baseman.

WHITE RETURNS TO ROCKY MOUNTAIN SOFTBALL: The Grizzlies hired former coach Brian White to fill their vacant softball coaching position.

White led Rocky Mountain for its first five seasons, 2009-13. The former Eagle coach led the Grizzlies to three state tournament appearances, including a runner-up finish in 2010.
