Bishop Kelly hires softball, girls soccer coaches

Former College of Idaho and Boise State assistant coach Madison Collins takes over the Knights’ girls soccer program, and the school hired former Rocky Mountain softball coach Melissa Nichols to head its softball team.

Collins spent last season at the College of Idaho. She coached at Boise State from 2011-14.

Nichols led Rocky Mountain to a 60-27 record in three years and to the state tournament twice, including a second-place finish at the 5A state tournament this season.

MOUNTAIN VIEW BOYS SOCCER COACH RESIGNS: Rich Tobias announced his resignation on his Facebook page after leading the Mavericks the past two years. Under Tobias, Mountain View went 22-15-4.
