Boise Nationals sweep U-18 State Cup titles

Boise Nationals club soccer teams won the boys and girls titles Sunday at the Simplot Sports Complex.

The boys edged Idaho Rush 2-1, and the girls blanked FC Nova 1-0.

The rest of the Idaho State Cup tournaments, ranging from U-13 to U-19, kick off Friday at the Simplot Sports Complex and conclude with championships Monday.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Crusaders signed Division I transfer Maya Rodgers (Rocky Mountain High) from the University of Denver and Marina Valles Monserda of Spain.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO WOMEN’S TRACK AND FIELD: Tiana Thomas (Middleton High) is the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field West Region Athlete of the Year.
