District baseball, softball titles awarded Thursday
The 5A, 4A and 3A district crowns are on all the line Thursday. In baseball, Mountain View is searching for its first 5A district title against perennial power Eagle, and Fruitland looks to extend its dynasty to 11 straight 3A titles. Meanwhile, Eagle softball tries to add a sixth 5A title in 10 years to its No. 1 national ranking.
SOFTBALL
5A: Eagle vs. Boise, 6 p.m. at Mountain View
4A: Middleton at Kuna, 5 p.m.
3A: Homedale vs. Emmett, 5 p.m. at Weiser
BASEBALL
5A: Mountain View at Eagle, 7 p.m.
4A: Kuna at Bishop Kelly, 5 p.m.
3A: Fruitland at Homedale, 4:30 p.m.
