Bishop Kelly High sophomore fourth at Youth Olympics

Nikita Rubocki finished just off the medal stand in the ladies’ ski halfpipe Sunday.

The 16-year-old turned in her best score on the second of three runs with 70.2 points, putting her temporarily in third place at the Winter Youth Olympic Games.

But Austria’s Lara Wolf edged her on the final run with 74.2 points to secure the bronze.

Rubocki will compete in the ski slopestyle Friday.
