Mountain View’s Destiny Slocum, Team USA in gold-medal game

Team USA outrebounded Spain 66-24 on Saturday en route to an 80-65 win and a spot in the championship game at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship semifinals.

The United States (6-0) will face host Russia (6-0) for the title Sunday (ESPN3, 11:15 a.m. MT).

Mountain View High senior-to-be Destiny Slocum played just under five minutes for Team USA, contributing two assists, one rebound and one foul.
