IDAHO 5A BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Sage Medeiros
Sandpoint, sr., P/RF
The 6-foot-3 right-hander and Spokane Falls CC commit dominated as the state champs’ ace. He led all classifications with an 11-0 record, and he topped 5A in ERA (0.76), strikeouts (84) and batting average against (.113). He also hit .346 with three home runs and 33 RBIs.

The first-year coach led the Bulldogs (25-2) to their first state title in 20 years and just the second in program history.

Carter Bowen
Bonneville, sr., SS/P
The five-tool, Salt Lake CC commit did it all. He went 5-0 with a 0.46 ERA, and he hit .433 with three homers, 32 RBIs and 17 stolen bases.
Chase Casagrande
Bishop Kelly, so., 3B/1B
His power and knack for big moments allowed him to hit .500 with a .900 slugging percentage, 43 RBIs and a 5A-best 18 doubles.
Maddox Stadelmeir
Twin Falls, sr., C/P
The two-way force led all divisions with 10 home runs, hitting .439 with 44 RBIs. He was 7-1 with a 2.50 ERA on the mound.
Ayden Boyd
Bishop Kelly, sr., CF
When he wasn’t robbing extra-base hits in the gap, he set the table in the No. 2 hole, hitting .478 with 36 RBIs and 26 stolen bases.
Jake Redder
Burley, sr., P/SS
The Bobcats’ ace makes his second all-state appearance, going 6-2 with a 1.29 ERA. He also hit .330 while learning a new position at shortstop.
Conner Thomson
Preston, sr., SS/P
He led all divisions in slugging percentage (1.068). He also topped 5A in average (.554) and on-base (.649), while going 6-2 with a 2.08 ERA.
Mason Little
Sandpoint, sr., 2B/SS
The Lassen CC commit came up clutch over and over again for the state champs, hitting .452 with three home runs, 34 RBIs and 20 stolen bases.
Colin Brazil
Bishop Kelly, jr., SS
A repeat first-team pick, he always found a way to get on (.593 on-base percentage) and was a terror on the basepaths (30 stolen bases).
Hoyt Murray
Twin Falls, sr., 1B/P
The Lassen CC commit racked up an all-class-leading 51 RBIs. The lefty hit .465, slugged .752 and scored 44 runs to lead the Bruins to state.
Jaxson Brady
Bishop Kelly, jr., 2B/P
The Knights’ ace and cleanup hitter carried BK as a two-way weapon. He hit .435 with 26 RBIs, and he went 5-0 with a 1.89 ERA.
Brennan Shaw
Sandpoint, jr., LF/UTIL
A consistent and clutch hitter, he brought a plus glove to the state champs while hitting .469 with 19 RBIs and 22 stolen bases.
