The conclusion of the regular season means it’s time for playoff baseball in Idaho.
The high school baseball district tournaments kick off this weekend in Boise and the Treasure Valley. For the second straight year, a new format means the district tournaments do not determine who qualifies for state.
Instead, the district playoffs set who goes to the regional tournaments around the state. The winner of those four regional tournaments then advance to the state playoffs.
