GIRLS TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Hallie Heemeyer, Rocky Mountain: Posted the second-fastest 800 in the state this season, winning the event in 2:14.42 at the Patriot Invite at Centennial High.

Lilly Stebbins, Mountain View: Won the high jump at Oregon Relays in Eugene with a clearance of 5-5, a personal-best and tied for the No. 2 mark in the state this season.

Lily Yeakley, Parma: Swept the 100 (12.38) and 200 (25.93) at the Patriot Invite at Centennial High.

Aliceann Hilleshiem, Eagle: Won the long jump (17-5) and triple jump (35-8.5) and placed second in the 100 hurdles (15.77) and fourth in the 4x100 relay (50.55) at the Patriot Invite at Centennial High.

Olyvia Denison, Fruitland: Placed first in the long jump (17-2) and triple jump (35-7) and added a runner-up finish in the high jump (5-0) at the Amy Christofferson Invite at Homedale High.

Morgan Nicoletti, Homedale: Won the 200 (27.53), 300 hurdles (48.56) and pole vault (11-0) and took second in the 100 (13.25) at the Amy Christofferson Invite at Homedale High.

Ava Kelpin, Liberty Charter: Took first in the 1,600 in a personal-best 5:37.71 and added a second-place showing in the 3,200 (12:21.41) and third in the 4x400 relay (4:51.28) at the Amy Christofferson Invite at Homedale High..

Ella Smith, Fruitland: Placed first in the 3,200 (11:56.83) and ran a leg on the Grizzlies’ winning medley relay (2:03.76) at the Amy Christofferson Invite at Homedale High.

Nyah Richardson, Melba: Cleared 5-0 to win the high jump, placed second in the javelin (87-6.5), third in the shot put (29-9.5) and sixth in the discus (87-9) at the Amy Christofferson Invite at Homedale High.

Lucy Spiess, Boise: Became the first in Idaho to break the 11-minute barrier this season in the 3,200, clocking a 10:59.51 at the Oregon Relays in Eugene.

BOYS TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Landon Hillam, Fruitland: Broke a 58-year-old school record in the 1,600, finishing third in a time of 4:24.51 at the Patriot Invite at Centennial High.

Jakobe Davis, Vallivue: Won the 400 at the Oregon Relays in Eugene in a school-record time of 47.81, which is tops in the state this season.

Koda VanDahlen, Mountain View: Placed second in the mile at the Oregon Relays in Eugene with a personal-best time of 4:17.94.

Elliot Schrack, Capital: Posted the state’s top mark in the javelin this season with a throw of 176-4, good enough for sixth at the Oregon Relays in Eugene.

Luke Bruce, Boise: Ran to a second-place finish in the steeplechase with a time of 6:13.59 at the Oregon Relays in Eugene.

Trev Larson, Eagle: Swept the 110 (15.44) and 300 hurdles (38.90) at the Patriot Invite at Centennial High. Both times were personal bests.

Jackson Laird, Weiser: Finished first in the 100 (11.22), 200 (22.89), 4x400 (3:38.28) and medley relay (3:54.00) at the Amy Christofferson Invite at Homedale High.

Kayden Barrett, Homedale: Swept the shot put (50-4) and discus (154-5) at the Amy Christofferson Invite at Homedale High. Both marks were a personal best.

Tatteham Burnham, Rocky Mountain: Finished first in the shot put (52-3) and discus (166-7) at the Patriot Invite at Centennial High.

Blake Sheets, Owyhee: Took first in the 100 (10.79), 200 (22.40) and 4x100 relay (43.53) and added a runner-up finish in the 4x200 relay (1:31.40) at the Patriot Invite at Centennial High.
