SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Ellie McManigal, Eagle: Went 16-for-24 with six doubles, six home runs and 15 RBIs in six games.

Hailey Brennan, Owyhee: Held Mountain View and Skyview to a combined one run on two hits while striking out 30 in 12 innings for a pair of wins.

Courtney Austin, Mountain View: Went 7-for-12 with a double, a home run and five RBIs in four games.

McKenna Chavez, Capital: Went 4-for-5 with three home runs and five RBIs while drawing four walks in a pair of wins.

Aubrey Sorensen, Rocky Mountain: Went 8-for-12 with three doubles, two home runs and nine RBIs in four games.

Reese Naylor, Borah: Went 6-for-14 with two home runs and five RBIs in four games.

Jaynie Burke, Bishop Kelly: Went 9-for-12 with three doubles, a home run and eight RBIs in three games.

Libby Garcia, Middleton: Threw a complete-game, one-hit shutout and struck out 17 in a 2-0 win vs. Emmett.

Oakley Scheibe, Emmett: Surpassed 400 career strikeouts with 14 punchouts in a 2-0 loss to Middleton.

Lauren Colson, Cole Valley Christian: Went 9-for-14 with four doubles, three home runs, 11 RBIs and three stolen bases in three games.
