Wrestlers of the Year: The top boys, girls athletes in Southwest Idaho this year

High school wrestling coaches in the 6A Southern Idaho Conference, 5A Southern Idaho Conference and the region’s girls league recently elected their wrestlers of the year.

See who they selected as the region’s best wrestlers below.

6A SOUTHERN IDAHO CONFERENCE

Wrestler of the Year: Jaxson Freeman, sr., Caldwell

Coach of the Year: Andy Deloney, Timberline

Assistant Coach of the Year: Shawn Jensen, Rocky Mountain

Coach of the Year: Casey Eager, Middleton

Assistant Coach of the Year: Nate Navarro, Nampa

Co-Large School Wrestlers of the Year: Ava Bui, jr., Centennial; Kyra Cobb, sr., Timberline

Small School Wrestler of the Year: Charlie Noah, so., Tri-Valley
