VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jessi Meaden, Columbia: Totaled 31 digs and two service aces in 5A Southern Idaho Conference matches against Middleton and Nampa.
Mary Irwin, Owyhee: Reached 1,000 career assists last week, amassing 67 assists, 10 blocks, seven kills and four aces in a pair of 6A SIC matches.
Hazel Goetz, Timberline: Racked up 27 kills, 14 digs, two blocks and two aces as the Wolves swept Meridian and Centennial in 6A SIC action.
Leilani Malepeai, Centennial Baptist: Collected 29 kills, 11 digs, eight aces and four blocks in victories over Rimrock and Idaho City in 2A WIC play.
Zoey Blackwell, Middleton: Led the Vikings to a sweep of Columbia in 5A SIC play with 18 digs, eight kills and three service aces.
Bellamie Beus, Skyview: Helped the Hawks stay unbeaten in the 6A SIC with 34 kills, 18 digs, five aces and one block in wins over Eagle and Capital.
Katelyn Huck, Boise: Amassed a team-best 20 digs with three assists and two service aces as Boise swept Centennial in 6A SIC action.
Gena Fink, Borah: Helped the Lions top Kuna in five sets in 6A SIC play with 20 digs, 15 kills and five service aces.
