Treasure Valley soccer players of the week (Sept. 15 to 21)

BOYS SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jacob Kofoed, Middleton: Tallied a hat trick (3 goals) in a 4-1 victory over Columbia in 5A Southern Idaho Conference play.

Weston Seamons, Kuna: The Kavemen earned their first two 6A SIC wins of the season with a pair of shutouts against Bishop Kelly and Capital. Seamons made 25 saves in the win over BK.

Amjed Salim, Mountain View: In wins over Capital, Timberline and Kuna, Salim totaled five goals and three assists.

Thayn Blanchard, Weiser: Moved to the defensive side of the ball last week in games against Fruitland and Parma, earning 10 steals and making a diving save into the goal.

Luis Alonso, Caldwell: In wins over Ridgevue, Centennial and Columbia, Alonso tallied four goals and four assists.

Makai Venegas, Nampa: The Bulldogs went 3-0 on the week with wins over Skyview, Columbia and Ontario (Ore.) as Venegas amassed six goals, including a hat trick in a 3-2 win over Skyview.

Drake Fanslow, McCall-Donnelly: In an 8-0 victory over Payette in 4A Snake River Valley play, Fanslow found the back of the net three times.

GIRLS SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Campbell Wilson, Rocky Mountain: Scored five goals in an 11-0 rout of Ridgevue and finished the week with six goals and an assist in two games.

Marisol Stosich, Mountain View: Racked up five goals and three assists in a 15-1 victory against Capital.

Alexa Zierenberg, Owyhee: Scored twice in wins over Centennial and Bishop Kelly, adding an assist vs. BK to finish the week with four goals and assist in two games.

Gretchen Baker, Kuna: Tallied four goals and three assists in two matches.

Hadley Beckley, Bishop Kelly: Scored twice and added an assist in a 5-4 win over Kuna.

Jenna Seals, Vallivue: Racked up two goals and three assists as the Falcons won two of three games.

Karli Roubidoux, Fruitland: Finished the week with six goals and three assists in three games, leading the Grizzlies to a 1-1-1 record.

Christina Hershman, Emmett: Had a hand in all three goals in a 3-1 victory over Homedale, scoring twice and assisting another goal.
