GIRLS SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Grace Hatch, Boise: Recorded a hat trick to lead the Brave to a 5-4 win over defending state and district champ Rocky Mountain.
Campbell Wilson, Rocky Mountain: Scored nine goals and added three assists in three games, leading the Grizzlies to a 2-1-0 record for the week.
Alexis Salisbury, Timberline: Posted three straight shutouts and stopped six shots to lead the Wolves to a 2-0-1 record. She has not surrendered a goal in five games this season.
Ruthanne Fischer, Nampa: Totaled two goals and four assists in a pair of games against Homedale and Payette.
Ashlynn Morris, Emmett: Tallied three goals and added three assists in an 8-0 win at Emmett.
Karli Roubidoux, Fruitland: Scored all three goals in a 3-0 win at McCall-Donnelly, then added two more goals in a 4-0 win at Emmett.
Karlie Kildow, Homedale: Racked up four goals and an assist in an 8-2 win over Payette.
Isabella Froshiesar, Weiser: Scored four goals in two matches, including a hat trick in a 7-1 win over Parma.
BOYS SOCCER PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Darey Negrete, Columbia: In win a 5-0 win over Emmett and a 3-0 victory over Mountain Home, Negrete scored seven of the Wildcats’ eight goals.
Nathan Compas, Parma: The Panthers topped Weiser 4-3 and lost 5-4 to McCall-Donnelly as Compas contributed three goals on five shots.
Kento Ogawa, Timberline: Ogawa netted three goals to help the Wolves take down Bishop Kelly 4-2 and Coeur d’Alene 3-0.
Gavin Draper, Meridian: In three matches, including two victories, Draper made 32 saves, highlighted by a last-minute penalty save to clinch the Warriors’ first win over Centennial in six years.
Isa Tucakovic, Borah: The Lions earned their first victory over the season 3-0 over Meridian as Tucakovic notched two goals.
Makai Venegas, Nampa: The Bulldogs defeated Mountain Home 5-0 and Jerome 3-2 as Venegas tallied three goals.
Zeke Van Hofwegen, Fruitland: The Grizzlies picked up their first win over the season 7-4 over Emmett as Van Hofwegen racked up five goals and one assist.
Eli Arndt, McCall-Donnelly: The Vandals held off Parma 5-4 in their season opener, with Arndt collecting three goals.
