SOFTBALL
Kali Jo Adams, Melba: She earned three wins in the circle last week, including coming one error away from a perfect game in a 22-0 victory over Idaho City. Adams pitched 17 total innings with 16 hits and six earned runs while striking out 19 and allowing just two walks. At the plate, she batted .500 with one double, six RBIs and an on-base percentage of .750.
Lily Binford, Boise: In four wins last week, Binford finished 13-for-15 (.867) at the plate with five doubles, eight RBIs and 11 runs scored.
Delaney Wright, Timberline: Wright earned a pair of wins in the circle, defeating Skyview 10-0 and Seattle Prep 10-0. In 10 total innings, Wright had a 0.00 ERA with 21 strikeouts and just two hits while also batting .500.
Afton Janke, Mountain View: The Mavericks remained unbeaten with four wins last week. Janke was 10-for-15 (.667) at the plate with four home runs, two doubles, two triples, five RBIs and a slugging percentage of 1.867.
Halle Fizer, Borah: In victories over Gooding and Jerome, Fizer went 4-for-7 (.667) at the plate with three RBIs. She also earned the win in the circle against Jerome, lasting five innings while striking out two.
Olivia Asumendi, Homedale: She had a monster game in an 18-1 victory over Fruitland, going 4-for-5 at the plate with three home runs, seven RBIs and five runs scored. She also earned the win in the circle, allowing two hits and one earned run while striking out nine.
Tyra Price, Capital: Helped the Eagles take down Jerome 10-3 with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate that included a double, two home runs, four RBIs and two runs scored.
Savannah Henzler, Rocky Mountain: The Grizzlies went 3-1 last week, with Henzler going 6-for-12 (.500) at the plate with five RBIs, five runs scored, two doubles and two home runs. She also earned a 14-4 win over Homedale, lasting five innings while allowing six hits and one earned run with four strikeouts.
Wesli Crockett, Parma: Registered three hits in three straight games while adding five RBIs, five runs scored, one double and two triples. She also earned a win in the circle, striking out four.
Rylie Haith, Owyhee: In shutout wins over Homedale and Pocatello, the Storm’s leadoff hitter finished 5-for-7 (.714) with five RBIs, four runs scored and a home run.
