GIRLS WRESTLING
Talea Nichols, Rocky Mountain: Rolled to four first-round pins to win the 110/115-pound bracket at the Safeway Girls Buckle Classic in La Grande, Oregon.
Audrey Deleon, Weiser: Pinned three straight opponents to win the 120-pound title at the Safeway Girls Buckle Classic.
Hallie Campbell, Columbia: Scored two first-round pins and a 10-4 decision in the finals for the 155-pound crown at the Safeway Girls Buckle Classic.
Reece Woods, Eagle: Pinned her way to the 190-pound title at the Safeway Girls Buckle Classic, spending just 44 seconds on the mat in two matches.
Toni Avelino, Caldwell: Racked up three pins, including two in the first round, for the 110-pound title at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa, Oregon.
Abby Eckhart, Fruitland: Scored three straight pins for the 120-pound crown at the Calhoun Classic.
Shekina Happuc, Boise: Ran through the 125-pound division at the Calhoun Classic with fourth straight pins, including three in the first round.
Angela Carl, Payette: Three straight pins in less than a minute led her to the 140-pound title at the Calhoun Classic.
Gracin Dennis, Emmett: Pinned three straight opponents to win the 170-pound division at the Calhoun Classic.
Gracie Castillo, Garden Valley: Ended all three matches with a pin for the 190-pound title at the Calhoun Classic.
Livia Briggs, Meridian: Racked up three straight first-round pins for the 100/107-pound title at the Storm the Stripes at Owyhee.
Ella Rawlins, Owyhee: Scored two first-round pins and a 7-4 decision in the finals for a 126-pound crown at the Storm the Stripes.
Emma Schneider, Capital: Bounced back from a round-robin loss to pin her way to the 145/165-pound title at the Storm the Stripes.
BOYS WRESTLING
Vincent Contreras, Nampa: The freshman won the 106-pound title at the Rose City Championship in Portland with an 8-0 decision in the finals, helping the Bulldogs win the team title.
Hunter Williams, New Plymouth: Racked up three straight first-round pins, then pinned a defending Oregon state champ in the second round for the heavyweight title at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa, Oregon.
Treven Hokland, Middleton: Extended his perfect record to 12-0 with a run to the 170-pound title at the Calhoun Classic.
Draven Johns, Caldwell: Pinned his way to the finals of the Calhoun Classic before a 4-3 decision over Middleton’s Jabyn Kemble for the 120-pound crown.
Grant Svedin, Melba: Pinned five of the six opponents he faced to win the 145-pound title at the Marsh Valley Invitational.
Titus Nichols, Rocky Mountain: Captured the 138-pound crown at the Tim Matthews Invitational in Jerome with three pins and a 5-1 decision in the finals.
Nakoa Fouret, Columbia: Used three pins and a 16-0 tech fall in the finals to win the 170-pound division at the Tim Matthews Invitational.
Shilo Jones, Mountain View: Scored an 18-7 major decision in the finals for the heavyweight title at the Tim Matthews Invitational.
Jackie Webb, Borah: Pinned four opponents before a 10-9 overtime victory in the 138-pound finals at the Storm the Stripes at Owyhee.
Oliver Edmunds, Capital: Racked up three pins and a major decision to win the 160-pound division at the Storm the Stripes.
Mason Rasmussen, Owyhee: Pinned all four opponents he faced for the 182-pound crown at the Storm the Stripes.
Bridjer Bivens, Meridian: The heavyweight finished all four matches with first-round pins for the heavyweight title at the Storm the Stripes.
