GIRLS SOCCER
Isis Villafane, Ridgevue: Opened the week with five goals in a 9-1 rout of Columbia, then added a hat trick in a 3-2 victory vs. Caldwell in the first round of the 4A district tournament.
Olivia Smith, Homedale: Netted a hat trick in a 6-2 win vs. Payette in the 3A district tournament play-in game.
Sophie Schmautz, Bishop Kelly: Closed an undefeated conference season with two goals and two assists in a 4-0 win at Skyview.
Mia Barron, Boise: Scored twice to lead the Brave to a 4-1 win over Middleton in the first round of the 5A district tournament.
Laken Gallagher, Timberline: Kept the Wolves’ season alive with two goals in a 3-1 win vs. Capital in a 5A district tournament play-in round. She also scored twice in 5-1 win vs. Borah.
Grace Nelson, Eagle: Recorded a hat trick in a 3-0 win vs. Nampa.
BOYS SOCCER
Jacob Samuelsen, Boise: Scored twice in a 5-0 win vs. Centennial in the first round of the 5A district tournament.
Jordan Shupe, Owyhee: His two goals extended the Storm’s season in a 3-1 win vs. Kuna in a 5A district tournament play-in game.
Krew Christensen, Eagle: Scored once and had three assists in the Mustangs’ 10-0 win vs. Nampa.
Andrew Nguyen, Bishop Kelly: Found the back of the net twice in a 3-0 win vs. Skyview that clinched BK the second seed at the 4A district tournament.
Jose Cabezas, Caldwell: Scored twice in an 11-0 rout of Emmett to cap an undefeated conference season.
