3A ALL-IDAHO PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Olivia Asumendi
Homedale, so., INF/P
The sophomore carried the Trojans to a state title as a dominant force in the circle and at the plate. She hit .460 with six home runs, 50 RBIs and a .780 slugging percentage. She also went 11-2 with a 2.68 ERA and 110 strikeouts in 73 innings as a pitcher.

He led the Trojans to district and state championships, finishing 24-5-1 and averaging 11.9 runs per game.

Dani Sitts
Homedale, so., P
She combined with Asumendi to dominate the circle, going 15-2 while adding 143 strikeouts and a 2.60 ERA in 83 ⅔ innings.
Maelynn Durham
Gooding, so., P
She anchored the Senators’ defense, posting a 16-4 record with a 2.90 ERA, 156 strikeouts and a .227 batting average against.
Trinity Tvrty
Buhl, sr., P
The right-hander led her team to a third-place finish at state, going 11-1 with a 3.49 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 132 ⅓ innings.
Gracie Brooks
Filer, jr., C
The leadoff hitter worked the count and stole 26 bases while hitting .513 with 19 doubles, 38 RBIs and an .838 slugging percentage.
Tobie Noyer
Weiser, jr., INF
Despite an arm injury, she hit .604 with 62 RBIs and led the 3A ranks in hits (64), home runs (12) and slugging percentage (1.236).
Whitney Cordes
Weiser, sr., INF
The four-year starter and Treasure Valley CC commit capped her career hitting .422 with 36 RBIs and a state runner-up trophy.
Alexis Roe
Gooding, sr., INF
The four-year starter and rodeo star did it all for Gooding, hitting .577 with 11 doubles, five home runs, 37 RBIs and 10 stolen bases.
Amaia Aberasturi
Homedale, sr., INF
The quick second baseman snatched up balls in the hole while hitting .303 with 19 RBIs and 32 runs scored.
Abi Wilkins
Weiser, so., OF
The center fielder was key to the Wolverines’ success, hitting .459 with four home runs, 47 runs, 32 RBIs and 14 stolen bases.
Nikaela Higley
Filer, sr., OF
The Blue Mountain CC commit packed the stat sheet with a .469 batting average, five home runs, 41 RBIs and 22 stolen bases.
Katie Christoffersen
Homedale, jr., OF
Her speed allowed her to rob hits in the gap and score 40 runs for the state champs. She hit .396 with 19 RBIs and seven doubles.
