The winter high school sports season concluded with a bang as a pair of Treasure Valley boys basketball teams won state titles.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Austin Bolt, Borah: The senior scored a career-high 35 points in the state championship game to carry the Lions to their second straight state title. He averaged 24.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.7 steals at the 5A state tournament.
Paul Yenor, Ambrose: The senior racked up a double-double of 17 points and 17 rebounds in the 1A Division I state championship, leading the Archers to a 49-27 win over Grace. He averaged 20 points and 11.7 rebounds at state.
Blake Thurston, Cascade: The junior guard averaged 21.7 points and 5.3 rebounds to lead the Ramblers to a second-place finish at the 1A Division II state tournament, their best since 2001.
Briggs Ranstrom, Rocky Mountain: The senior averaged 12.3 points and shot 16-of-25 (64 percent) from the floor to lead the Grizzlies to the 5A third-place trophy, their sixth consecutive state tournament trophy.
Tyler Robinett, Middleton: The senior averaged 14.3 points and 7.3 rebounds as the Vikings won the 4A third-place trophy, their first state tournament trophy at the 4A level.
Hyrum Lindsey, Fruitland: The junior averaged 15.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks for the Grizzlies at the 3A state tournament, leading them to the third-place trophy.
