Former Boise State golf coach Burton earns player of the year
Kevin Burton, former Boise State coach and the PGA director of instruction at Pierce Park Greens in Boise, is the 2015 player of the year and Senior player of the year in the Rocky Mountain Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America.
Burton finished no worse than seventh in any event he played and also qualified for the United States Senior Open. He has won player of the year six other times.
The Rocky Mountain PGA Section is one of 41 sections that comprise the Professional Golfers’ Association of America and includes eastern Montana, western Wyoming, southern Idaho, northern Nevada and Ontario, Ore.
