Northwest Nazarene softball adds four freshmen, two locals

The Crusaders announced the addition of Eagle’s Maddie Strickler, Nampa Christian’s Alli Byron, Brittany Genuardi of Spanaway, Wash., and Raeanna Young of Elk Grove, Calif.

Strickler hit .430 with eight home runs to lead Eagle to an undefeated season, a 5A state title and a No. 1 national ranking.

Byron posted a 2.86 ERA while hitting .512 with six home runs to lead Nampa Christian to its first state tournament.
