Two College of Idaho football players are preseason All-Americans

College of Idaho junior tight end Marcus Lenhardt (Eagle High) and senior defensive back Nate Moore (Mountain View) are on The Sporting News’ Preseason NAIA All-America Football Team, which was released in the magazine’s 2016 college football preview yearbook.

Lenhardt, a two-time All-Frontier Conference player, led NAIA tight ends in receptions (40) and added 573 yards and seven touchdowns. Moore, a first-team All-American and All-Frontier selection in 2015, led the conference with six interceptions.

The Yotes begin their season Sept. 3 against Montana Western at Simplot Stadium in Caldwell.
