College of Idaho heptathlete leads Cascade Conference meet
Tiana Thomas (Middleton High) is in first place after the first day of the Cascade Conference Multi-Event Championships.
Winning three events Thursday, and tying for first in another, Thomas leads the heptathlon with 2,799 points — 320 more points than second-place Irene Moore of Evergreen State.
Thomas claimed top marks in the 100-meter hurdles (15.06), shot put (32-2.25), 200 (25.92) and high jump (tied with a 4-11.75).
The meet concludes Friday.
