Idaho colleges roundup: College of Idaho baseball sweeps Oregon Tech
Hunter Hanson went 6-for-10 with two homers and seven RBIs in Sunday’s doubleheader as the College of Idaho beat Oregon Tech 15-2 and 13-5 to complete a four-game series sweep of the Owls at Wolfe Field. Riley O’Brien struck out a season-high 10 batters in six innings of three-hit ball for the win in the opener, and the Coyotes (19-7, 7-3 NAIA West North) pounded out 34 hits on the day. The C of I continues its long homestand next weekend, hosting British Columbia for three games Saturday and Sunday.
BOISE STATE WOMEN’S TENNIS: UNLV (15-0) remained perfect with a 6-1 win over the Broncos at Boas Indoor Tennis Center. BSU (4-7) swept the doubles matches in the Mountain West opener to earn the doubles point.
BSU SOFTBALL: Sunday’s doubleheader with Montana was canceled for inclement weather. There are no current plans to make up the games.
