Idaho colleges roundup (Feb. 23): College of Idaho men’s basketball hosting playoff game

The No. 4-seeded College of Idaho (17-12) plays No. 5 Oregon Tech (22-8) in the quarterfinals of the Cascade Conference Tournament at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center. The winner advances to a Saturday semifinal. The Yotes swept the season series against Oregon Tech.

C OF I WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Yotes’ season ended Tuesday with an 87-50 loss at No. 5 Southern Oregon in the quarterfinals of the Cascade Conference Tournament in Ashland, Ore. Jaycin Tini led the C of I (9-18) with 13 points, nine rebounds and three steals.

BOISE STATE WRESTLING: Former Broncos Kirk White and Ben Cherrington were named to the Pac-12 All-Century Team, released Monday. The team is comprised of 28 wrestlers and was voted on by a panel of 20 experts, including coaches, wrestlers, administrators and media. White (1997-2001) and Cherrington (2002-06) are the only two Boise State wrestlers to win NCAA titles.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Crusaders (12-13, 10-9 GNAC) defeated Central Washington 84-77 in Nampa. Ellie Logan scored 27 points for NNU.

NNU BASEBALL: Colton Loomis is the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association West Region pitcher of the week.
