Texas linebacker commits to Boise State football
Breydon Boyd, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound linebacker from Katy, Texas, has switched his commitment from Iowa State to Boise State, he said Monday.
Boyd will be a senior at Katy High this fall and can officially sign with the Broncos in February. Katy is the defending Texas Class 6A Division II state champion.
Boyd is the Broncos’ fourth known recruit for the Class of ’17, including offensive tackle Mike Young (Queen Creek HS, Arizona), quarterback Chase Cord (Sunrise Mountain HS, Arizona) and safety Mike Young (Dodge City CC, Kansas).
