Boise State adds Texas high school coach to football staff
Chris Ross, the head football coach at Prosper (Texas) High, will join the Boise State staff as the Broncos’ director of program development for football.
Ross went 7-4 last season at Prosper, where he coached incoming Boise State running back Robert Mahone. He went 57-25 from 2005-11 at Cedar Park High.
The position is a new one on the Boise State staff, one that will primarily help in off-field efforts, including recruiting and player development.
“Teaching, connecting and recruiting,” Ross told the Dallas News. “I get to be into everything.”
