Ready for another early kickoff time at Boise State? Fresno State game set
Boise State football announced its game against Fresno State at Albertsons Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 1, will kick off at 1:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports 1.
It will be the third 1:30 p.m. Mountain time kickoff this season for the Broncos, following the 28-7 loss at Notre Dame on Oct. 4 and last weekend’s 56-31 win over UNLV.
The Bulldogs will arrive in Southwest Idaho with a swagger in their step, having defeated the Broncos the past two times the teams met. Fresno State has started the season 5-2, the same as Boise State (5-2, 3-0 Mountain West), but the Bulldogs are 2-1 in the conference after falling 49-21 to Colorado State two weekends ago.
Fresno State plays San Diego State (5-1, 2-0) in a key Mountain West game this weekend; both teams had byes last week. The Broncos travel to lowly Nevada (1-6, 0-3) this weekend for a Friday night game.
Not many Mountain West teams can boast what the Bulldogs can against Boise State. They defeated Boise State on The Blue in 2022 in the conference championship game, winning 28-16, giving them three league titles, which ranks second behind BSU’s five.
Fresno State then beat the Broncos 37-30 in the regular season in 2023 in California, giving them a two-game winning streak in the series. The teams didn’t play last season.
With this kickoff time set, Boise State has just one game remaining without a start time: home against Colorado State on Saturday, Nov. 22.
