Ashton Jeanty took no time to score his first NFL touchdown. See it here

Former Boise State football running back Ashton Jeanty didn’t waste any time stamping his name on the National Football League.

Early in the second half of the Las Vegas Raiders’ season-opening road game at the New England Patriots, Jeanty punched in a 3-yard touchdown to give the Raiders a 14-10 lead.

In a sight that became more-than-familiar to Boise State fans, Jeanty seemed to be swallowed in the scrum at the line of scrimmage, before bursting out of the side and powering himself into the endzone.

Jeanty ended the game with 35 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries to help the Raiders to a 20-13 win over the Patriots. The Raiders drafted Jeanty sixth overall in the 2025 NFL Draft last April.

Jeanty, who averaged 26.7 carries per game last year at Boise State, wasn’t used quite as extensively in his NFL debut. But he did show what he was capable of in his first NFL carry, gliding through a gap before it took four Patriots defenders to take him down after a 10-yard gain in the opening minute of the game.
