Are fans snapping up Ashton Jeanty’s Raiders jersey? Here’s where he ranks
Las Vegas Raiders and probably Boise State football fans haven’t wasted time grabbing a new Ashton Jeanty jersey.
The Raiders selected Jeanty No. 6 overall in the NFL Draft last week, and his new jersey is among the best-selling for rookies in the league since then.
The NFL Shop posted its top-10 rookie jerseys on Monday, and Jeanty’s came in ranked No. 4 in sales.
Jeanty is expected to have an immediate impact for the Raiders in 2025. Last season, Las Vegas finished last in the league in rushing yards per game (79.8) and yards per rush (3.6), and with new coach Pete Carroll, the team went out and grabbed Jeanty to address that.
Jeanty, the Heisman Trophy runner-up last season, recorded the second-most single-season rushing yards in college football history (2,601) in 2024, leading Boise State to a Mountain West championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff. He is an early favorite for the 2025 NFL offensive rookie of the year award.
Jeanty’s jersey was joined on the list by Idaho product Colston Loveland, who was drafted 10th overall by the Chicago Bears. The tight end, who attended Gooding High School and then was a standout at Michigan, appropriately saw his jersey sales fall No. 10 on the list.
Here was the top 10 list released Monday afternoon, along with the player’s team and when they were drafted. Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, whose actual NFL Draft picture did not match his hype, is the only player on the list who wasn’t selected in the first round.
