Here’s how to watch the NFL Draft, plus latest predictions for Ashton Jeanty

Former Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty will finally find out this week where he’ll be playing football on Sundays for the foreseeable future.

The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, and it’s anticipated that Jeanty will be drafted in the top 10, with some reports even having Jeanty picked among the top 5.

Here’s what to know about watching the NFL Draft and where Jeanty could land.

How to watch the draft

The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, which is at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, will begin at 6 p.m. Mountain Time. The draft will air on ABC, ESPN, NFL Network and ESPN Deportes, and will also stream on ESPN+ and the NFL app.

Each team has 10 minutes to make a draft selection in the first round. Most mock drafts have Jeanty being drafted around the No. 4 to 6 range, meaning Bronco fans could have to wait about an hour to see Jeanty’s name called. Of course, teams could select quicker than their allotted 10 minutes and speed up that process.

The second and third rounds of the draft are on Friday, starting at 5 p.m. Mountain Time.

Bronco fans will likely want to keep an eye on the final few rounds on Saturday, with the fourth round starting at 10 a.m. Mountain Time. Former Boise State defensive end Ahmed Hassanein is also expected to be drafted, with ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. predicting he’ll go in the fifth or sixth round.

Where could Jeanty land?

For weeks, it’s looked like the Las Vegas Raiders would be Jeanty’s landing spot with the sixth overall pick.

Raiders General Manager John Spytek was the only NFL GM to attend Boise State’s Pro Day. Spytek also told the NFL’s SiriusXM radio show that his son told him, “If we don’t pick Ashton Jeanty at No. 6, that he’s walking out of the family and he’s going to find somebody else.”

But there’s now talk of teams trading up to beat the Raiders to Jeanty.

Sports Illustrated reports that three other teams are eyeing Jeanty: the Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears. And Jacksonville doesn’t even need to trade up, already holding the fifth overall pick.

Denver would need to make a big trade, as it currently holds the 20th overall pick. A trade up for the Bears would be less of a jump, with the Bears having the 10th overall pick. Kiper told the Idaho Statesman that Chicago could be a likely landing spot even if the Bears don’t trade up and Jeanty slips past the Raiders at No. 6.

If either of those two teams trade up, it would likely be with either the Cleveland Browns or New York Giants, who have the second and third picks, respectively. ESPN reports both teams are fielding calls to potentially trade down, with interested parties potentially doing so for Jeanty.
