Packed house: Boise State sells out every home game for first time in program history
For the first time in program history, Boise State has sold out all six of its regular-season home games.
Boise State announced on Tuesday afternoon that its final three home games of the season — against San Diego State (Nov. 1), Nevada (Nov. 9) and Oregon State (Nov. 29) — are now sold out.
Selling out the final game is particularly impressive, given that it’s a 10 a.m. kickoff the day after Thanksgiving.
The Broncos sold out 36,363-seat Albertsons Stadium for their first three home games, and with hopes of qualifying for the College Football Playoff becoming more realistic by the week, the hype continues to build around the team.
Boise State has a record of 5-1 ahead of its trip to UNLV this weekend. A victory would move the Broncos’ conference record to 3-0 and put Boise State in the driver’s seat for hosting the Mountain West championship game in December.
In addition to the three home games and the game against UNLV on Friday, Boise State still plays at San Jose State on Nov. 16 and at Wyoming on Nov. 23.
If you’re yet to get tickets for any of the Broncos’ final three home games, don’t despair. Thanks to a partnership between Boise State and Ticketmaster, you can still purchase verified resale tickets.
Boise State implemented the verified resale program following the COVID-19 pandemic. It allows fans to safely and easily sell tickets through Ticketmaster, with the purchaser having the comfort of knowing their ticket is legit and will work upon arrival at the stadium.
“We highly recommend our fans head straight to ticketmaster.com because those tickets are verified resale, which means they are legitimate,” Andrew Bondi, director of ticket operations at Boise State, previously told the Idaho Statesman.
As of Oct. 22, the cheapest tickets for Boise State’s home game against San Diego State on Nov. 1 are selling for $89 each in section 13, which is in the stadium’s northwest corner.
