Boise State’s North End Zone Project filed with city. Check out the latest renderings
Boise State University submitted its North End Zone Project application for Albertsons Stadium to the city of Boise.
The application starts the planning and development process, and it includes blueprints, occupation and seating numbers, and the revamped end zone renderings. The school hopes to begin construction in early 2025, with a targeted completion date before the 2026 football season.
The project would add corner seating to both sides of the end zone stands at the Boise River end of the stadium, more closely connecting them to the east- and west-side stands. Access tunnels would be built on either side, leading out toward the field and patio suites.
Boise State previously said the North End Zone renovation would add up to 1,600 seats and feature 12 field-level suites, 44 loge boxes, 148 ledge seats, and 882 club seats with all-inclusive food and beverage amenities on game days.
The blueprints filed to the city indicate the seating numbers for the following areas in the bowl-area portion of the stadium:
American Disability Act and Companions: 20
Drink rail: 60
East Club seats: 452
East Ledge seating: 74
East Loge seating: 110
West Club seats: 416
West Ledge seating: 74
West Loge Seating: 110
Grand total bowl seating: 1,316
The new end zone project would include additional restrooms, an open-air sports bar, a club and terrace space that can be used on nongame days, and a nutrition center for all student-athletes. You can check out the documents and blueprints on the city of Boise’s website.
The blueprints featured some updated renderings, provided by Boise State, of what the new end zone could look like.
