Boise State Football

Boise State football kicks off this week. Here’s the TV information for the season

Less than a week remains until Boise State football returns and fans get a first look at the team in Spencer Danielson’s first full season as head coach.

Boise State will be looking to become the first team to win back-to-back Mountain West championships since San Diego State did so in 2015-16.

The Broncos open the season Saturday in the southeast at Georgia Southern before traveling west to Eugene, Oregon, to face the No. 3 Ducks a week later on Sept. 7.

“We’re excited, it should be a good year,” redshirt senior wide receive Austin Bolt said last week. “Georgia Southern’s a good opponent. We’ve got to trust the process of what the coaches are doing with the game plan and just execute the game plan these next couple of days.”

An early-season bye week means the Broncos won’t play their home opener until Sept. 21, when Portland State visits The Blue for a Saturday night kickoff.

Overall, the Broncos will have 11 regular season games air on national television this year, with the other game available on the streaming service Peacock. And that’s a big one: at Oregon. Three games will be on Fridays.

If Boise State advances to the Mountain West championship game, that’s another Friday kickoff, on Fox on Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. Mountain time.

If you’re not planning on traveling for games or being at Albertsons Stadium, here’s what we know so far about the television broadcasts. You can listen to a radio call of every game at KBOI 93.1 FM or 760 AM. A complete list of radio stations for regional markets can be found online.

All kickoff times are Mountain time.
