Boise State lands a signature 2026 recruit early in the process, and it’s a 3-star QB

The Boise State football team hasn’t signed any of its 2025 recruits yet, but the Broncos have already added a player to their 2026 class.

Glacier High School quarterback Jackson Presley announced his verbal commitment on Monday. The three-star recruit from Kalispell, Montana, chose the Broncos from a list of his final three schools, which also included Arkansas and Oklahoma State.

He’s the No. 2 overall recruit from Montana in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. He also has scholarship offers from Florida State, Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Washington State, West Virginia and North Texas.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound right-handed quarterback racked up 3,053 yards and 28 touchdowns through the air with just four interceptions last season as a sophomore. He also added four rushing touchdowns while guiding Glacier to the Class AA state championship game, where it fell to Bozeman.

Many college coaches prefer to add quarterbacks early in the recruiting process because their services are in high demand and they can act as unofficial recruiters, helping to build the rest of the class. Boise State does not have a quarterback in its 2025 class yet.
