Kickoff time, TV info set for Boise State’s home game vs. Mountain West foe New Mexico

Boise State’s final home game of the regular season against New Mexico will kick off at 7 p.m. and air on FS1 on Saturday, Nov. 20.

The Broncos are 10-1 against the Lobos. Their only loss in the series, which dates back to 1999, was a 31-24 setback at Albertsons Stadium in 2015. Boise State has won four straight since then, including a 42-9 rout in the most recent meeting, in 2019.

Boise State (5-4, 3-2 Mountain West) is coming off its first back-to-back wins of the season. The Broncos knocked off Colorado State on the road two weeks ago and then upset Fresno State in front of a sellout crowd in Bulldog Stadium on Saturday. They host Wyoming on Friday (7 p.m., FS1).

New Mexico (3-6, 1-4 MW) is coming off a 31-17 home loss to UNLV on Saturday. It was the Rebels’ first win of the season. The Lobos travel to Fresno State this weekend.

The Lobos are led by Kentucky transfer quarterback Terry Wilson Jr., who has posted 1,058 yards and seven touchdowns through the air and one touchdown on the ground this season. He has missed the past three games because of a dislocated elbow on his non-throwing arm, however.

Redshirt freshman Isaiah Chavez made the first home start of his career against UNLV on Saturday. He went 3-for-3 with eight passing yards and rushed for 23 before he was replaced in the second quarter by true freshman C.J. Montes, who finished the game 7-for-13 for 28 yards and added 28 rushing yards.

Running back Aaron Dumas led the Lobos with 92 rushing yards against UNLV, and he leads the team with 479 yards on the ground this season. Fellow running back Bobby Cole scored on a 75-yard touchdown run against the Rebels, which gave him a team-high two rushing TDs this season.
