Boise State adds an offensive lineman with Power 5 offers to its 2021 recruiting class

Boise State added a fourth offensive lineman to its 2021 recruiting class on Friday.

Jason White — a 6-foot-4, 260-pound offensive tackle from Orange, California — announced his verbal commitment Friday afternoon on Twitter.

He’s joining a class that already includes offensive linemen Cord Kringlen (6-5, 275), Joseph Amos (6-3, 325) and Mason Randolph (6-4, 280), who announced his commitment on Sept. 15. All three are three-star recruits, according to 247Sports.

White also earned three stars from 247Sports, which ranks him as the No. 55 offensive tackle and No. 61 overall recruit in California, and he has the scholarship offers to prove it. He has offers from Florida, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington State, Utah, Kansas State and Oregon State.

In September, the senior at Orange Lutheran told 247Sports that the Broncos’ history of success and their playing style drew him to Boise State.

“They play great football there. They’re one of the top teams out west every year, and I really like their coaching staff as well,” White told 247Sports’ Greg Biggins. “I also like their style of play. They’re old school, smash mouth and always run the ball well. I think that style fits me well.”

White is following in the footsteps of his older brother, Torian, who started 18 games at offensive tackle during his three-year career at UCLA.
