Sometimes after a hard day, nothing refreshes like a cold one.

Sometimes when you get a hard-earned touchdown, the same thing applies.

Former Boise State offensive lineman Jon Gott celebrated a score in a CFL game Friday night in a viral fashion, chugging a beer after his Ottawa Redblacks scored a 1-yard touchdown in a 24-9 win over the Toronto Argonauts.

ESPN’s tweet of the celebration has been retweeted more than 18,000 times and has 62,000 likes.

And you know it was memorable when the mighty PFT Commenter tweeted about it.

According to the Ottawa Sun, Gott’s girlfriend was sitting in the end zone seating area, and he grabbed the beer from her. If the NFL also can mean the No Fun League, the CFL by comparison is the Crazy Fun League with celebrations like that.

Gott played for Boise State from 2004 to 2008 and has played in the CFL since his career with the Broncos ended. He’s a two-time CFL All-Star.
