Boise State men’s basketball splits doubleheader in Costa Rica

Boise State split an exhibition men’s basketball doubleheader with Canadian schools on Friday to open a four-game tour.

The Broncos beat Brock University (Ontario) 76-56 and lost to Ottawa 90-88. Zach Haney had 25 points and four rebounds in the first game, and James Reid hit five 3-pointers en route to 17 points in the second.

BSU will face the Costa Rican national team Saturday, then meet Ottawa again Sunday.
