Boise State men’s basketball to host SMU

The Broncos will host the American Athletic program in a nonconference game Nov. 30 at Taco Bell Arena, a team source said Monday.

It will be the first part of a home-and-home agreement, with Boise State traveling to Dallas next season.

The Mustangs went 25-5 last season, finishing No. 24 in the Associated Press poll (ineligible for the postseason).

Larry Brown, who has won more than 2,500 games as a college and pro coach, resigned July 8.

Boise State also plays at the Charleston Classic in South Carolina on Nov. 17-20 and at Oregon on Nov. 28.

BIG SKY WOMEN’S SOCCER: Idaho was picked to repeat as conference champions in a preseason coaches’ poll released Monday, and Idaho State is predicted to finish 11th.

NNU BASEBALL: The Crusaders added Casey Cornwell (Western Nevada College), Jarod Gonzales (Gonzaga/Walla Walla CC), Billy King (Oregon State), Casey Sheehan (Riverside CC/UC Riverside) and Dylan Theroux (Prairie Baseball Academy/Lethbridge).
