Boise State gets commitment from junior college guard

The Boise State men’s basketball team received its first known commitment for the spring signing period when Gillette (Wyo.) guard Cameron Oluyitan announced via Twitter he intends to sign with the Broncos.

Oluyitan is a 6-foot-6, 185-pound guard who averaged 14.6 points per game and shot 52.2 percent from the field (41.4 percent from 3-point range) last season for the Pronghorns.

He was named second-team All-Region IX last month.

A Houston native, Oluyitan has four years to play three as he joined Gillette last season directly out of high school.

When Oluyitan signs, the Broncos will still have two open scholarships.
