Thomas Bropleh, who played a pivotal role off the bench as a senior at Boise State in 2013-14, was selected in the fifth round (82nd overall) of the NBA D-League draft Saturday by the Texas Legends.

Bropleh played last season for Finke Baskets in Germany, averaging 15.9 points per game. At Boise State, he played in 128 games and finished his career with his best play, scoring in double figures in 10 of his last 14 contests. He was profiled by Ridiculous Upside this week.

The Legends are the Dallas Mavericks’ affiliate in the D-League. They play at the Idaho Stampede in Boise on Dec. 9.

Idaho had the first pick in the D-League draft and selected forward Jeff Ayres, who has played in 220 NBA games for Portland, Houston and San Antonio. He played in 51 games, averaging 7.5 minutes, last season for the Spurs. See the full draft results here.
