Basketball Saturday: Boise State women host Long Beach State, men travel to UC Irvine

With the Boise State football team playing Friday night, Saturday will be devoted to basketball for the Broncos.

The BSU women play their first official game of the 2021-22 season when they host Long Beach State (1-0) at 2 p.m. at ExtraMile Arena. The Broncos defeated Southern Oregon, 62-49, in an exhibition game Saturday.

Fresh off a season-opening 76-56 home victory over Utah Valley on Tuesday, the men play their first road game at 7 p.m. vs. UC Irvine (0-1) at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California.
