The Boise State women’s basketball team, off to a 7-0 start after an overtime win at Washington State on Sunday, hosts Concordia (Ore.) at 7 p.m. at Taco Bell Arena.
The Cavaliers (3-5) are a Division II team from the Great Northwest Athletic Conference that will visit Northwest Nazarene in conference play Jan. 17.
The Broncos are led by senior guard Brooke Pahukoa (16.7 points per game), junior forward Shalen Shaw (11.4 points, 7.1 rebounds) and senior guard Yaiza Rodriguez (third nationally with 8.0 assists per game).
Boise State, one of 19 women’s teams still undefeated, and the only one in the Mountain West, plays at No. 11 Washington (8-1) on Sunday. If Boise State beats Concordia, coach Gordy Presnell will go after his 600th career win against the Huskies.
