BOISE

Brooke Pahukoa scored four of her 16 points in overtime to help lead the Boise State women’s basketball team to a 73-68 victory over Seattle on Sunday at Taco Bell Arena. BSU held the Redhawks scoreless in the final frame.

Riley Lupfer scored a game-high 17 points for the the Broncos (3-0), who trailed by 16 points in the first half. Shalen Shaw recorded a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, and Yazia Rodriguez chipped in 12 points.

“I like the way we came back. We could have easily folded up, but we just kind of battled back,” said head coach Gordy Presnell. “In the second half I thought we played with a lot more enthusiasm and more intensity. I thought Riley Lupfer came to play, she can really shoot. We need to get better because our schedule really jumps up.”

The contest closes a three-game homestand for the Broncos, who head to the Saint Mary’s Thanksgiving Classic to face Saint Mary’s on Friday and Charlotte on Saturday.
